Meet The Pastor of Lord of Life
Rev. Rebecca Zielke, Pastor
Pastor Becky Zielke came to Lord of Life from eastern Pennsylvania in the fall of 2009. In college, she studied psychology and minored in music, taking organ lessons her senior year. After college, she attended Moravian Seminary and received an MA in Pastoral Counseling. She then worked as a counselor for Catholic Charities and as the assistant organist at her home church until experiencing a call to ordained ministry in 2005.Â
After completing her Masters in Divinity at The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia as well as an internship at Gateway Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Myers, FL, Pastor Becky was called to serve at Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
At this time, in addition to her role at the church, Pastor Becky volunteers as a chaplain for the Canfield Police Department, on the board of the Mahoning Valley Association of Churches and on the Lutheran Catholic Covenant Commission.
In the summer of 2014, she was married to Robert Zielke (shown in photo ) . Pastor Becky enjoys playing the piano and guitar, watching college basketball with her husband and rereading the Harry Potter series. She also likes to say ridiculous things that make people laugh and believes we should take time to laugh every day.Â
Pastor Becky would like to invite you to come join us at Lord of Life some time...there are some really great people here.
